| Anna Paquin, a New Zealand-Canadian actor and film theater actor, is most well-known for roles such as The PianoFly Away from Home as well as X-Men. Her first foray into the field at the age of 11 when she appeared in The Piano for which she was awarded the Academy AwardforBest Actress as a support role. While she didn't have any plans to become an actor, fate made it happen. After her successful debut in the industry, she was contacted by a variety of companies, but she declined them to continue her education. Following a highly successful debut film aged 14 she was offered roles in Jane Eyreand the Fly Away Homefilms series. The year 2000 saw her play Rogue, the powerful mutant Roguein the X-Men X-Men film series. Her role upon landed her in the limelight. She reprised her role in the role of Roguein sequels like X2 and X-Men The Last Stand.She also made tiny screen appearances, including Elaine Goodalein Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she received her first Emmynomination.
